Welcome — I’m Alicia Couture, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor serving individuals in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

I believe therapy is a collaborative journey built on trust, understanding, and connection. My goal is to create a safe and welcoming environment where you feel comfortable being yourself, exploring your experiences, and working toward meaningful change.

Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, trauma, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can provide a space to better understand yourself and develop tools to move forward.

My Story
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Rhode Island. I furthered my education with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from William James College and am currently a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Over the past five years, I have had the privilege of working with individuals across all age groups:

My Approach to Therapy
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized. I believe the therapeutic relationship is the foundation for effective counseling, and I strive to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported.

I incorporate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Art Therapy, Play Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Behavioral Activation, and Mindfulness-Based Techniques.
Together, we will explore your experiences, identify strengths, develop healthy coping strategies, and work toward the goals that matter most to you.
